The Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department held its 2016 Tourism Research Program Results Presentation on January 25, 2017 at the Oklahoma History Center. Each of the reports and the infographic handout have now been posted to the Tourism Industry Research & Reports page on TravelOK.com.
The dates and featured chefs for Odyssey de Culinaire 2017 have been set! The first dinner will be Thursday, July 20 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center, and the second dinner will be Thursday, July 27 at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in OKC. We hope to see you at one or both of these unique dinners benefitting Student Programs within the Oklahoma Hospitality Foundation!
The U.S. Travel Association has released its Impact of Travel on State Economies (ITSE) — an annual report describing the importance of the U.S. travel industry to the national economy. Travel economic impact statistics presented in the report include travelers' expenditures, travel-generated employment, payroll income, and tax revenues for the nation, as well as for each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
