Debra Bailey
President & CEO

Serves as Chief Executive of the association, and is responsible for the fiscal management of the association, as well as directing staff activities, office operations, and communication with officers. Coordinates with contract lobbyist as needed.  Also serves as CFO for the Oklahoma Restaurant Association.
Patti Colley
Chief Strategy Officer

Directs activities surrounding association meetings and events. Responsible for Strategic Partnerships/sponsorships, marketing collaborations, and industry relations. Also serves as CSO for the Oklahoma Restaurant Association and the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association.
Jillian Coursey
Manager, Training & Accounting

Manages all ServSafe® sanitation training classes and other educational training opportunities and materials. Assists CEO with association accounting, accounts payables/receivables.
Linda Etherton
Director, Convention

Responsible for association graphic design projects, as well as exhibitor relations. Also serves as Director, Convention of the Oklahoma Restaurant Convention & Expo.
Collin Graham
Director, Membership

Primary contact for the industry as it relates to member enrollment, retention, research and discount program enrollment, as well as Alcohol Compliance Training and regulatory and operational research for members. Directs activities surrounding the development of preferred member programs.

 
Jim Hopper
Oklahoma Restaurant Association President & CEO

Represents industry views and interests before state legislative and regulatory agencies. Coordinates with contract lobbyist. 

Julia Jernigan
Contract Lobbyist
Represents industry issues at the state capitol and state agencies.
Theresa Martin
Manager, Meetings & Events

Primary member contact for event registration. Assists CSO in managing association meetings and events. 
Shannon Moad
Manager, Industry Communications

Initiates and manages all industry communications including publications, social media, website, public relations and advertising. 
 
Chandy Rice
Director, Education & Student Programs

Directs Hospitality Student programs including Hospitality Tourism Management Program and ProStart®, the nationally recognized culinary and hospitality certifications in high schools and technology centers within the state, as well as OSU HTM. Works to provide job placement and mentoring activities within the industry. Is the primary point of contact for activities involving the Oklahoma Hospitality Foundation.

 
Elizabeth Sanchez
Coordinator, Sonic/ServSafe®, and Registration

Maintains all records for Sonic/ServSafe® classes and coordinates Alcohol Compliance Education “ACE” training classes.
Hannah Shillington
Help Desk Coordinator

Responsibilities include answering phones, member communication, bookkeeping, and data entry.

Contract Lobbyist

Represents industry issues at the state capitol and state agencies.
Debbie Weiss
Director, Member Care

Directs member fulfillment including member and non-member databases, dues billing and collection, retention programs, and endorsed partner relations. Assists Director, Membership with state and local regulatory member inquiries.

OTIA recently hosted the 2018 Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summits and - wow! - what great events! These half-day programs provide tourism education featuring speakers covering a range of topics on best practices to promote tourism in your region, and include a townhall-type discussion by the Lt. Governor on tourism development in each of the areas visited around the state.

Members of the OTIA will come together for Hospitality Day at the Capitol, where we will spend time speaking to legislators about issues facing our industry, and then culminate in a fabulous reception with more than 600 members and legislators at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center.

Hundreds of association members recently attended an informational session on the "New Alcohol Laws Coming your Way," presented by attorney Adam Marshall with Barrow & Grimm. The 2-hour session covered the details of the new law, which goes into effect October 1. Mr. Marshall kindly shared his presentation for those who were unable to attend.

The ORA has launched its new Oklahoma Hospitality Buyers’ Guide - a valuable, easily accessible, year-round resource featuring updated and expanded supplier and product listings, in addition to other information relating to the hospitality industry. The Guide provides users with an efficient way to browse for goods and services and offers hospitality suppliers and companies exceptional visibility by showcasing their products and services to a targeted, industry-specific buyer group.
