"OTIA is one of the most valuable tools in the Edmond CVB’s tool box. The educational opportunities provided by OTIA are affordable and a great tool for staff development within my office and the tourism businesses in my community. OTIA is the one place where all of the elements of tourism in Oklahoma come together to work together. OTIA’s leadership, advocacy and legislative voice are all key to the success of tourism in Oklahoma. Simply put, Edmond CVB’s membership and participation in OTIA leverages our ability to reach out and bring tourism dollars home...home to Edmond...home to Oklahoma."

The travel industry added 30,000 jobs in October, a significant increase following a drop in travel employment last month due to Hurricanes Irma and Harvey, according to the U.S. Travel Association’s analysis of Friday’s Labor Department employment report.

Members of the OTIA will come together for Hospitality Day at the Capitol, where we will spend time speaking to legislators about issues facing our industry, and then culminate in a fabulous reception with more than 600 members and legislators at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center.

Here's something the Trump administration, congressional Democrats and Republicans and elected officials from the heartland to the coasts all agree on: There's no greater travel destination in the world than the U.S., from exceptional travel experiences to world-class meetings and conferences that drive business and grow local economies. The CEO of the U.S. Travel Association argues that America's greatness doesn't sell itself. It needs a properly funded Brand USA.
