The Hospitality Industry Join Forces for Annual "A Tasteful Affair" Legislative Reception

Join us for next year's Hospitality Day at the Capitol & "A Tasteful Affair" Legislative Reception on April 14, 2021!

Members of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association, Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association and Oklahoma Travel Industry Association joined forces on March 11, 2020 to gather for Oklahoma’s annual “A Tasteful Affair” Legislative Reception.

This year alone, 184,700 jobs were generated through the restaurant industry, $7 billion were spent in business sales and $9.6 million were generated in direct visitor travel spending in Oklahoma. As a whole, the hospitality industry generates enormous tax revenues, provides jobs for hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans and gives time and money back to the community.

Industry professionals from The Oklahoma Restaurant Association, Oklahoma Hotel and Lodging Association and the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association gathered at the Bricktown Events Center for the reception. Over 24 of Oklahoma’s finest restaurants and breweries showcased their culinary and beverage tastings. It was an incredible and important day for Oklahoma’s hospitality industry.
